Thomas Vogel

Thomas Vogel is the Principle Broker for Bureau Real Estate. As a full-time member of the U.S. Armed Forces, he freely admits he is not your average agent. Thomas enlisted in the U.S. Air Force at at the age of seventeen and worked his way up the ranks. Eighteen years in, he is now a commissioned officer with a strong client following in real estate. “I’ve always worked hard,” he says. Like many, his introduction to real estate came with the purchase of his first home. “I had some not-so-great experiences with a few agents,” he recalls. “I thought people deserved better—that I could do better. That’s how I got started.”
In addition to being an Air Force officer and an agent, Thomas holds a Masters-in-Business, and is also a licensed mortgage loan originator. “I’m a busy body. And I’m very good at multi-tasking. Doing what it takes to get the job done. It’s kind of how I’m wired.” He eventually extended his client service into financing. “I grew my business by being a one-stop shop. I liked the transaction details, getting the financing in order—even putting my professional photography skills to good use by shooting the properties. With the tools and support Bureau gives its agents, I can now devote more of that time to serving my clients.”
Thomas expects the move Bureau will allow him to do more good work for more people. “I got into buying and selling houses as a way to help people who were looking for guidance and advice they could trust. It’s what makes me passionate about my work, and that’s right in line with Bureau’s approach,” he says. “My mentality in the military has always been, ‘Take care of your people and the mission will always succeed.’ It’s the same thing in real estate. Support the people who look to you for leadership—and you will always carry the day.”
